A good week on XBLA this week as we get to try out Pipeworks Software’s Deadliest Warrior. Based on the popualar Spike TV television show, in which information on historical and modern warriors and their weapons are put against each other to determine which of them is the “deadliest” based on tests performed in each episode.

The Apache, Knight, Ninja, Pirate, Samurai, Spartan and Viking from season one will playable. The Roman Centurion from season two will also be playable, with more characters to be added in upcoming DLC.

Another gem this week is Deathspank. The action role-playing game designed by Ron Gilbert, has been the works since 2004. Anything by Ron Gilbert is worth picking up and especially when the game is being described as Monkey Island meets Diablo. #thingsthatdontsuck
